Yesterday was Mother’s Day and two of my sons live away from home. One sent me well wishes and the second son did not and has not talked to me since October of last year. I have been using this opportunity to be a better version of myself. I am hoping we can mend the broken fencing between us. I feel part of my de-cluttering is a way to shrug off misguided feelings, hurt feelings, angry feelings, and focus on positive feelings.

So I’ve hit a couple of milestones in the past week! I decided to launch my podcast, Motherhood Unfiltered: It’s going to be okay! and I finally had a truck load of donations hauled away from our home. I had a few twinges of nostalgia but it’s for my mental health and the safety of our home. I honestly felt I had loads of burdens lifted off my shoulders!

I hope to use my blogs, social media, interviews, and podcast to shed light on some issues we Mother’s face each and everyday. You have someone to say? Please reach out and let’s talk about it.
